St. Gabriel and All Angels

Ordination Weekend April 23-26

PUBLICITY
1) Steven will ask Melinda to publicize the ordinations via KRUU and other contacts.
2) Gail will ask Lucinda to coordinate publicity with FWR.
3) James will create a Facebook event through the St Gabriel's page.
4) Invitations -- James and Steven will invite US clergy. Include Fr. McGill & Fr. Kreuzenpaintner.

FRIDAY (APRIL 23)
5) Fr. Thomas will pick up +Wm at the airport. If anyone wants to come along for the ride, contact Fr. Thomas.
6) More volunteers may be needed to pick people up at airports.

+Wm will stay at Becky Huggins's house.

Fr. Jeffrey Forth will stay with the Boenders.

Fr Tim and Mary Donovan will stay with Sue Huggins.

Other volunteers may be needed to pick up other guests and family members of James and Steven.

7) Steven volunteered to contact Ron and Darlene Andreatta to ask if they would be willing to help pick up people in Cedar Rapids and host them for short times to facilitate coordinating pickup times.

8) Evening meals for +Wm: It was discussed to have Steven take +Wm out Friday evening and James take him out Saturday evening.

9) James is planning an orientation meeting for out-of-town guests to discuss food, background of LCC and ordination, schedule. Time TBD.

SATURDAY (APRIL 24)
10) Services (Confirmation and Holy Eucharist) will begin at 9:00 am Saturday
11) Minor ordinations will take place during Holy Eucharist.
12) Confirmations with be either before or after Holy Eucharist.

13) Lunch will follow. Gail has arranged for us to use the upstairs room at Revelations.

14) 2:00 pm Rehearsal for Sunday's Ordination (allow a couple hours for this)

15) 8:00 pm Service TBD, may be some selection of Sophia Sanctissima, Solemn Benediction, Healing.

SUNDAY (APRIL 25)
16) Holy Eucharist will begin at 10:15 as usual.
17) Fr. Thomas will be MC, assisted by Patrick.
18) Steven will contact Fr Jeffrey to borrow extra vestments for visiting clergy.
19) Steven will ask Luky to coordinate flowers.
20) Front pews will be reserved for guests of Steven and James.
21) Patrick will coordinate overflow seating with video link. He will consult with Lucinda and Michiel on this.
22) Patrick will help coordinating food and a cake
23) Ann will work with choir for special music.

24) There will be a dinner at church after service. Food will need to be coordinated.

MONDAY (APRIL 26)
25) Volunteers may be needed to drive people to airports.
